Clear Blue Sky…And Candles!

I’ve been carving and dressing candles since I was either 19 or 20.  I worked in a shop back then, and would ask the clients what they were looking for.  Then, we’d prescribe for them the right color candle, with the appropriate oil or oils, add honey to the bottom as an offering to God/Goddess/The Universe and dress the candles with glitter in different colors.  I loved doing them, and refused to do any that were negative or in any way controlling (except for serious and life threatening addictions – they were an exception to my rule).  I find that candles are an effective form of prayer.

I have now designed my own line of candles and am dressing them and selling them.  I wanted to roll a few out so you can see if there’s one or more that you’d like.

Pathways – This is a candle for those who can’t quite figure out which way to go to achieve peace and happiness.  It helps you to make decisions while also making sure you have the proper amount of luck and energy to get there.  It’s usually a yellow or orange candle, and has a roadway carved in, along with 7 stars representing your chakras.

Focus – Many of us have trouble focusing on the tasks at hand.  When this happens, a Focus candle can really help keep our thoughts in line with what is needed.  This candle is white and has an eye.

Get Lost Stalker – This is one of my favorites.  It’s a sort of banishing candle, but with a gentle, peaceful edge.  I’ll suggest an additional action that you can do at home right away, and then we’ll add this in either blue, or gray depending on how intensely you’re being targeted.  What this candle will do is to make this person think of other things and people instead of you constantly.  It breaks the infatuation or hatred up just enough to distract them and set you free.

The Ahhhhhh Candle – This is one of my favorites.  I created it for an old friend and client who’s initials are AH.  It’s essentially a joy candle to bring you happiness that you can’t ignore, and it also is an “unlocking” candle for you to find your inspiration and the key to getting where you need to be.  Amazingly powerful candle!  It can be done on yellow, pink, white, blue or purple.

Garbage Out Candle – I love this candle.  It will terminate the effects of negative words and thoughts.  In one ear and right out the other.  It’s an orange candle and has an actual trash pail carved into it.  This is where you’ll put those less than nice thoughts you have and words you hear.  It will replace the space and time that previously was used with these depressing triggers with pure white light.

Best Love:  Looking for your soulmate?  This is the one for you. It’s a beautiful pink candle with arrows pointing to the center of a heart.  This will help you find the person that is right for you, and for whom you’re right!  It’s gentle, but quick and powerful.

Home Body– Need to fix up some energy in your home? Do you have neighbors who irritate you? This will neutralize the negative energy brought in by someone you would prefer not to have in your home.  It’s a blue candle and it contains a house, surrounded by love and peace, inside and out.

These candles can be shipped to you for you to burn, or I can keep them lit here in my workshop.  It’s entirely up to you.  The candles are $35 each, and that includes shipping.  It’s $40 if you want me to burn it here and send you pictures.

Later today I will be creating some artwork for you to see what will be placed on the candles.

Spring Breakage. Oh! And A SALE!

You know, it’s funny. It’s supposed to be Spring, yet we got snow yesterday. It really doesn’t matter what we think or want when it comes to “seasonal” weather. It’s gonna do what it’s gonna do! That’s the power of Mama Nature.

What are your plans for this upcoming Spring? Will there be travel, weddings, any gardening, any hiding in the house and watching TV?

I love to give Spring Cleaning readings, and making Spring Cleaning candles. Both of these help clear out the dust and cobwebs from the winter and renew our souls.  Or at least give you some perspective, and some light!

Until May 1st, one hour readings will be $75 (rather than my normal $100 rate), and my Spring Cleaning 7 Day Candles will be $25 (plus shipping, if you want to burn it yourself, or $30 if you want me to burn it here) rather than the normal $40 price.

Love and kisses and all that jazz!

How I Know I’ve Been “Called In” To Work

irish

borrowed from Kimberly at http://anightowlblog.com/

I honestly don’t know how interesting this will be, (if at all), but if you like it, would you let me know?  I’m a Leo, and I need a little boost now and then.  Just kidding!  How’s your St Patrick’s Day Monday going?  I am so delighted (yes, delighted!!!) that I no longer have to travel to New York City on the train during this holiday.  You used to hear me grumble “I hate St Patrick’s Day!”, and “It’s Amateur Night (a/k/a New Years) so let’s ride the rain, get sick and fall asleep!”  Hahahahahahah.  The pictures I should have taken!  Oh well.  If you are not from this area, you may want to have a look at this.  It’ll explain all of the above!

I was watching the wonderful Kim Russo on Haunting Of.  I love to watch her work.  She’s so smooth and seamless!  She hears/sees/feels and acknowledges immediately.  I do this weird jerking thing sometimes when I feel a spirit pull for attention.  It’s so stupid, but it’s really funny!  And that generally doesn’t happen until I’ve failed to recognize any of the “calling cards” being thrown my way.  I try to think about something and then I end up hearing a song in my head, or visualizing a door, or something else fairly clear and obvious, and I won’t return to my original thought for varying amounts of time.

Sometimes, an hour or two before a reading it happens, odd things begin to happen.  A remote will fall from the couch when no one is on it and it wasn’t in an unsafe position. Knocking.  Banging.  Something falling.  That means someone wants to be an early bird and share that excitement that someone they love is coming because of them.  9 times out of 10 I’ll be thinking nothing of these things, and just let them factor into the background noise. Can you imagine how frustrating that must be to a spirit?  Later, after I’ve meditated and prepared, I get it.  It’s clear immediately (and then I don’t get pushed!)

Just now, as I was planning this post, I felt a song pushed into my head.  Like the old jukeboxes used to grab the old record or cd and pull in the new one.  It’s not a song I’m familiar with – wait!  No, I know it.  It’s a Bread song.  “Every Thing I Own” – I’m hearing the lyrics “You Sheltered Me From Harm, Kept Me Warm, Kept Me Warm.”  Hmmmm, I wonder who this is from, who it is for, and what it means. I’m sure I’ll be getting a call soon!

When I was a kid, the messages I got were vivid and clear.  Maybe too much so.  I think that’s why I turned it off for such a long time.  The sad thing is that you cannot turn it off, only cover it and try to drown it out.  It’s exhausting.  It feels great to embrace this full time now and be able to share my gift.  I hope you’re all having a great Monday and that some of you have a good hangover remedy ready for the morning!

Enjoy!

See you later!

Call Me – I’m Live On The Old Telephone!

I am on Keen.com right now people! Give me a call for a reading you won’t forget, plus you get 3 minutes for free!  Happy Tuesday!

When I was about 8 or 9 years old, I discovered that I could hear voices. Afraid that I was losing my very young mind, I informed my mother, who told me that this was also something her grandmother had experienced in Ireland and that it was a blessing, not a curse. Listening to the voices made me realize that they were, in fact, telling me truthful, helpful and meaningful things. I got my first deck of cards around this time, and the way I taught myself to read was really by painting a picture and putting it together the way that only I can and do. Often I get little “insights” that help put the puzzle together. More than a reader and psychic medium, I think of myself as a bit of a “caring ear”, coach, or maybe cheerleader. I will do my best to help you if that’s what you want. I will listen to you, and above all, I will care about you and your feelings, and take them seriously.
