What Light Through Yonder Window Breaks?

Hey everyone! I hope you’re doing well and navigating your way through this Winter.

There will be later in the day availabilities on Wednesdays for in-person readings. I hope that helps make things a bit easier for those of you with time constraints. Hahahaha! Who doesn’t have time constraints?

Tarot class is coming soon, and I’d love to hear from you about your possible interest. I’m considering Tuesday or Thursday evenings from 7PM to 9PM and am looking for a space for this. As soon as I have one secured, I’ll be posting here about registration. It will be an event for limited numbers of people, as I will be doing many readings with and for you during the classes (I find it’s the greatest way for me to convey what Tarot can do for you when it pairs with your higher self). It will not be a traditional Tarot class in any way. But it will be fun, enlightening and you’ll walk away with your own comfort level with your cards.

I am striving to write some articles, and would love to know what you’d be most interested in reading about! Please let me know.

It’s Winter Break for my daughter, so I’m taking off two days this week. If you wanted to book a reading, you may want to schedule now.

Have a great week everyone! Love and Kisses!

Temporary People

Walking out...and vanishing.

Walking out…and vanishing.

Have you ever experienced meeting someone who would be in your life a short time, and then just sort of fades away?  Your friends either don’t remember this person, or if they do, it’s in a vague way?

These people, in my life anyway, are the ones that can’t be found, yet were with me at very important moments and might have even been a catalyst for change.  I wonder about them.  Were they angels?  Were they demons?  Were they both?  Were they spirit who borrowed someone’s body for a short time?

I met one of mine on a New Years Eve many many years ago.  Many!  I was set to meet a friend at Saint Marks Bar & Grill in NYC.  It was the setting for the Rolling Stones “Waiting For A Friend”, which was quite ironic since I got stood up!  However, another person came into the bar who was also looking for my friend.  So in the end, she stood us both up, and we ended up having an amazing night, going from club to club and basically laughing through dawn!

We remained friends for a short time afterward.  On my birthday 8 months later, however, she spotted Steve Stevens walking down MacDougal Street as we were headed for the Scrap Bar.  I told her I didn’t want to follow Mr. Stevens, I wanted to see my friends.  She smacked me across the face and ran away….never to be seen again!

There have been many others.  Some appear for a few minutes, offer advice or make me laugh, and then are simply gone.

Do you have any experiences like these?  Am I the only one?

Spring Breakage. Oh! And A SALE!

You know, it’s funny. It’s supposed to be Spring, yet we got snow yesterday. It really doesn’t matter what we think or want when it comes to “seasonal” weather. It’s gonna do what it’s gonna do! That’s the power of Mama Nature.

What are your plans for this upcoming Spring? Will there be travel, weddings, any gardening, any hiding in the house and watching TV?

I love to give Spring Cleaning readings, and making Spring Cleaning candles. Both of these help clear out the dust and cobwebs from the winter and renew our souls.  Or at least give you some perspective, and some light!

Until May 1st, one hour readings will be $75 (rather than my normal $100 rate), and my Spring Cleaning 7 Day Candles will be $25 (plus shipping, if you want to burn it yourself, or $30 if you want me to burn it here) rather than the normal $40 price.

Call me at (516) 495-9775 or email me at magzmama@gmail.com.

Love and kisses and all that jazz!

How I Know I’ve Been “Called In” To Work

borrowed from Kimberly at http://anightowlblog.com/

I honestly don’t know how interesting this will be, (if at all), but if you like it, would you let me know?  I’m a Leo, and I need a little boost now and then.  Just kidding!  How’s your St Patrick’s Day Monday going?  I am so delighted (yes, delighted!!!) that I no longer have to travel to New York City on the train during this holiday.  You used to hear me grumble “I hate St Patrick’s Day!”, and “It’s Amateur Night (a/k/a New Years) so let’s ride the rain, get sick and fall asleep!”  Hahahahahahah.  The pictures I should have taken!  Oh well.  If you are not from this area, you may want to have a look at this.  It’ll explain all of the above!

I was watching the wonderful Kim Russo on Haunting Of.  I love to watch her work.  She’s so smooth and seamless!  She hears/sees/feels and acknowledges immediately.  I do this weird jerking thing sometimes when I feel a spirit pull for attention.  It’s so stupid, but it’s really funny!  And that generally doesn’t happen until I’ve failed to recognize any of the “calling cards” being thrown my way.  I try to think about something and then I end up hearing a song in my head, or visualizing a door, or something else fairly clear and obvious, and I won’t return to my original thought for varying amounts of time.

Sometimes, an hour or two before a reading it happens, odd things begin to happen.  A remote will fall from the couch when no one is on it and it wasn’t in an unsafe position. Knocking.  Banging.  Something falling.  That means someone wants to be an early bird and share that excitement that someone they love is coming because of them.  9 times out of 10 I’ll be thinking nothing of these things, and just let them factor into the background noise. Can you imagine how frustrating that must be to a spirit?  Later, after I’ve meditated and prepared, I get it.  It’s clear immediately (and then I don’t get pushed!)

Just now, as I was planning this post, I felt a song pushed into my head.  Like the old jukeboxes used to grab the old record or cd and pull in the new one.  It’s not a song I’m familiar with – wait!  No, I know it.  It’s a Bread song.  “Every Thing I Own” – I’m hearing the lyrics “You Sheltered Me From Harm, Kept Me Warm, Kept Me Warm.”  Hmmmm, I wonder who this is from, who it is for, and what it means. I’m sure I’ll be getting a call soon!

When I was a kid, the messages I got were vivid and clear.  Maybe too much so.  I think that’s why I turned it off for such a long time.  The sad thing is that you cannot turn it off, only cover it and try to drown it out.  It’s exhausting.  It feels great to embrace this full time now and be able to share my gift.  I hope you’re all having a great Monday and that some of you have a good hangover remedy ready for the morning!

See you later!
